Help Inspire Youth Track and Field Athletes This Giving Tuesday

Passionate about track and field? Want to make a difference in the sport?

This Giving Tuesday your donation will help inspire young track and field athletes in the United States. that truly need your help and financial support. Your donation on this national day of giving will help the NSAF continue to give youth track and field athletes opportunities for success that might not be available to them without your help. Help track and field athletes reach their dream by giving your tax deductible donation to the NSAF. Together we can continue to inspire athletes for future success.

Since 1992, the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation has been a tax-exempt 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization with the mission to inspire youth to live active, healthy lifestyles, and to prepare them for future success.

Your donation will help the NSAF fund meets, grants, clinics, and projects outlined below.

The NSAF:

  • Has assisted more than half of the 2008, 2012, and 2016 USA Olympic medalists, including Michelle Carter, Matt Centrowitz, Kerron Clement, Angelo Taylor, Shalane Flanagan and Sanya Richards; most received NSAF travel grants as high school-aged athletes to help reach their goals.
  • Hosts clinics, camps and seminars for athletes and coaches around the country. Clinics teach technique, training methods, injury prevention and rehabilitation, drug education and tolerance preparation.
  • Administers Project Javelin Gold and Project Triple Jump, providing year-round elite training and competition opportunties for 15-20 student-athletes identified by our coaches and staff as having great potential for future Team USA podium finishes.
  • Distributes travel grants for hundreds of track and field athletes, potential All-Americans and aspiring Team USA athletes to compete in our NSAF Select, New Balance National, and USATF Youth and Junior Trials meets.
  • Provides 25-30 rising elite sophomore and junior student-athletes an annual opportunity for their first low-pressure international team experience at the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational in Havana, Cuba.
  • Presents awards to help clubs and teams in a variety of ways through our Cedric Walker and Tony Wells development grants, which also include a public service component for the recipients.
  • Hosts more than 12,000 student-athletes each year for its high school indoor and outdoor national championships (currently New Balance Nationals Indoor and Outdoor) -- vying for NSAF Championship rings and All-American honors -- and its Great American Cross Country Festival.
  • Assists hundreds of colleges and universities, which send representatives to our national championship events and, as a result of our events, an estimated $10,000,000 in scholarships are awarded annually to athletes competing at our events.
  • Strives constantly to create innovative educational programs & resources for athletes and coaches.
